I’ve been using the 1More SonoFlow Pro headphones on and off for a month now and really like them. They produce good sound, are comfortable and have a generally effective noise cancelling system.

I am not an audiophile, so my requirements are pretty simple: does the music sound pleasant and can I understand what is being said in podcasts. My musical tastes run to classic country, classic rock and jazz; the SonoFlow makes all of those sound pleasant. On podcasts, the spoken word is clear.

The headphones are helped by 1More’s app, which has 12 presets for things such as “Studio,” “Classical,” “Pop,” “Hip-Hop,” and “Podcast.” It also allows you to create your own settings on the equalizer.

I’ve worn the 1More SonoFlow headphones while doing yardwork, while walking on cool days in Northern Michigan, while playing a couple of video games on my computer and while writing this blog.

Outside while using a leaf vacuum, I found the noise cancelling quite effective. I could discern what was being said on a podcast with only a slight increase in volume

The headphones get warm for my tastes, so on hot days, I would go to earbuds, but they’re great earmuffs.

And earmuffs is what I used them for on my autumn Northern Michigan walks. With wind coming in off the lake, it can get quite nippy.

To be honest, I don’t often have the background music and sound effects turned on when playing video games, but as an experiment, I did with these. The 1More headphones offered a nice immersive experience.

I very much like using the headphones while writing. The noise cancelling keeps out distractions, and some low volume music while I write helps me stay focused on my projects.

The build quality of the headphones seems solid. The earpieces are some sort of pleather vinyl and nicely padded. The vinyl does seem a bit thin, though. I wonder how they will hold up to multiple hundreds of hours of listening.

The 1More SonoFlow pros fold up nicely, with a satisfying snap, and fit into a nice zipper case.

Battery life is very long. The company claims 100 hours in “standard mode” and 65 hours with the noise cancelling. I haven’t tested the 100 hours, but I have used them for hours, put them away, and then come back for more. They certainly last longer than any earbuds I own. The company also says that you can get ten hours of listening with just a five minute charge.

I think that would make these perfect headphones for air travel. One could easily “top off the tank” while waiting to board.

In my mind, the 1More Sonoflow Pros offer a good value. As of this writing, they are around $70 on Amazon.
