PAR AND YARDAGE

Oakland Hills Country Club (South Course) will be set up at 7,334 yards and will play to a par of 35-35–70. The South Course will host all match-play rounds. The stroke-play co-host course, Oakland Hills Country Club’s North Course, will be set up at 6,849 yards and will play to a par of 35-35–70. (All yardages subject to change)

ARCHITECTS

Donald Ross designed Oakland Hills Country Club’s South and North courses. The South Course opened on July 13, 1918. The North Course opened on May 13, 1924. Robert Trent Jones renovated the South Course in 1950 and the North Course in 1969. Rees Jones updated the South Course in 2006. Oakland Hills Country Club celebrates its centennial in 2016.The club was founded on Oct. 17, 1916, with 140 charter members.

COURSE RATING AND SLOPE

Based on the course setup for the championship, the USGA Course Rating™ for Oakland Hills Country Club’s South Course is 77.5 and its Slope Rating® is 146. The Course Rating for the North Course is 75.1 and its Slope Rating is 142.
