Suunto Traverse Sport Watch

The Suunto Traverse is not a golf watch, but does have a lot of appealing features.

As a dedicated walking golfer, I like to track the distance that I’ve walked. Walking is my exercise. On a good week, I might put in twenty or more miles on the golf course. In winter months, it’s nearly that many on the track at the gym. The Suunto Traverse keeps daily, monthly, and yearly track of steps and calories. I could use that sort of tracking.

The watch also has sunrise/sunset times, and a storm alarm. That last is a good thing in a place where the weather is as variable as Michigan.

GPS timekeeping means that the traveler will have no problem keeping track of local time.
