The Club at Olde Cypress to Reopen Remastered Golf Course, Updated Clubhouse in November
New Turf Throughout Naples’ First P.B. Dye Design Headlines Multi-Million-Dollar Project
(NAPLES, Fla.) – The Club at Olde Cypress, one of the most vibrant, active and welcoming private clubs in Southwest Fla., will reopen its remastered P.B. Dye-designed golf course and 34,000-square-foot updated clubhouse in November following a multi-million-dollar investment in the club by owner STOCK Development.
The expansive project entailed the resurfacing of all 18 greens, practice green and chipping area with TifEagle Bermuda; enlarging, leveling and re-grassing tee boxes with Bimini Bermuda; installation of a new subsurface drainage system for rapid expulsion of excess water and new high-performance, artificial turf stations on the driving range for use when the grass tees are closed. To complete the project, the course’s 98 bunkers will be refreshed with new edging, contouring and visually-stunning sand.
Inside Olde Cypress’ clubhouse, Soco Interiors has transformed the golf shop, welcome area and offices with a contemporary palette of crisp whites, sophisticated grays and layered neutrals with accents of deep blue. The woodwork is painted a cool gray and blends perfectly with new silver and wood-accented pendant lighting and a modern sphere-shaped chandelier. PEBBLE BEACH, CALIF. (Oct. 6, 2021) – On October 7, Pebble Beach Company will open Hay’s Place restaurant, the final addition to the new Tiger Woods-designed short course, The Hay. Situated atop Peter Hay Hill, the restaurant will offer a Mexican-inspired menu in a casual setting—the perfect spot for a leisurely lunch, dinner, or after-round drink. From its expansive outdoor patio with fire tables and fire pit seating, guests will be treated to scenic views of The Hay short course and the Pacific Ocean. Hay’s Place is just a short walk from The Lodge at Pebble Beach.
