After Q School The Battle Has Just Begun

Congratulations Rookies, you’ve just won your card at Q School!

So everything is fine and dandy, right?

Not quite. As it turns out, there’s a pecking order on the Tour, and rookies often have a hard time getting into enough tournaments to actually keep the card they’ve just won.

If you want a good view of what it’s like to be a rookie on the PGA Tour, I recommend a book that I read a couple of years ago called—appropriately enough—Rookie on Tour by Carl Paulson.
