Ally Challenge Next Week; Concerts, Celebrity Challenge Add To Entertainment Value

The PGA TOUR Champions’ Ally Challenge at Warwick Hills in Grand Blanc, Michigan takes place August 19-25 at Warwick Hills Golf & Country Club in Grand Blanc, Michigan.

It’s a great opportunity to see some very recognizable names in action, including Bernhard Langer, Ernie Els, Vijay Singh, Stewart Cink, and Boo Weekley.

Will it be the last chance to see Bernhard? It might be. He played his final European Tour event last month.

There’s a lot going on at the Ally Challenge. In addition to pro golf, there’s a concert on Friday by Smash Mouth and a Saturday concert with Thomas Rhett.

Also, if you go on Saturday, you’ll also have the opportunity to see some local celebrities in a four-hole match. Among those on tap: Jeff Daniels, Joey Koocur, Julie Inkster and Quinn XCII (I have no idea who that is, but surely some of you will.)

The tournament is open to spectators from Thursday (August 22) to Sunday (August 25) and ticket prices start at $15—children 17 and under receive free grounds access with a ticketed adult. The Ally Challenge is one of the premier Regular Season events on the PGA TOUR Champions in 2024, featuring a $2,200,000 purse and leading to the Charles Schwab Cup Playoffs — a season-ending, three-tournament series used to determine the TOUR’s season-long champion.

All three rounds of The Ally Challenge presented by McLaren will be broadcast on Golf Channel.

Since its inception in 2018, The Ally Challenge presented by McLaren has donated more than $7.3 million to support charity.
