Twilight is my favorite time to play golf. The air is cool, the courses largely empty, and I can play away the cares of the day. Tonight I got out to play nine after dinner — my first twilight expedition of the new golf season.
I was hitting some positively brilliant shots, and did not want to stop, but ran out of sunlight around 8:30.
Upon reflection, that’s probably a good thing. The wheels likely would have come off on the back nine.
