Ascension Charity Classic Winners and History

The inaugural Ascension Charity Classic on the PGA TOUR Champions was played in September, 2021. David Toms was the winner.

The tournament is owned and operated by Tournaments For Charity, a St. Louis non-profit.

It is played at Norwood Hills Country Club in St. Louis.

The Ascension Charity Classic benefits North St. Louis County communities, including the Marygrove residential treatment center for children, the Urban League of Metro St. Louis and the Boys and Girls Club of Greater St. Louis. In 202, the tournament raised $800,000.

In 2020, in spite of the tournament being cancelled because of the pandemic, the tournament raised $225,000.

Sponsors are Ascension and Emerson. Ascension is a Catholic non-profit health care system based in St. Louis. Emerson Electric is a Fortune 500 electrical manufacturer based in Ferguson, Missouri.
