Playing Atunyote Golf Course At Turning Stone

Turning Stone Atunyote
Turning Stone’s Atunyote Course.

On Thursday, I played Atunyote Golf Club at Turning Stone Resort. For a few years, this course was the site of a PGA Tour event.

Atunyote is quite simply the best manicured course I have ever played. The greens, tee boxes and green fringe are mowed by hand. Every blade of grass seems to be in place. In my fevered dreams, I imagine that playing Augusta National must feel a bit like this.

Atunyote was designed by Tom Fazio and not only looks good; it is a lot of fun to play.

  1. I knew you would like it! Hope you get to play the other two! They have more play, especially Shenendoah but they are nice courses for sure!
