Bahamas Great Exuma Classic At Sandals Winners and History

The Bahamas Great Exuma Classic at Sandals Emerald Bay is a Korn Ferry Tour event held since 2017.

In an unusual move, the tournament is played Sunday through Thursday. The schedule change is designed to give the Korn Ferry tour additional exposure in a position that does not compete with either the PGA TOUR or the NFL.

The tournament is played at Greg Norman’s Emerald Bay golf course, which is adjacent to the Sandals Emerald Bay resort. I played the course in 2014, and had the opportunity to have dinner with Norman at the resort. The other Korn Ferry Tour tournament in the Bahamas is the Bahamas Great Abaco Classic At The Abaco Club. The tournaments are sponsored by the Bahamas Ministry of Tourism.
