There’s a foursome at my club—all retired gentlemen—who have played together twice a week for the last twenty years.
It’s got to be getting boring.
They should spice up their game with the Be The Ball On Course Game. It’s a set of plastic cards labeled with various golf events, such as birdies, long balls, etc. before the round begins, the players agree to a dollar value for each of the cards. Then, as the events occur during the round, the cards are distributed. At the end, everyone pays up according to the agreed upon values of the cards.
I’ve played a similar game, keeping track of the side bets with pencil and paper. But the cards would make it very easy.
