So here we go:

  1. Henderson vs Ko – KPMG Women’s LPGA

Two of the LPGA’s youngest stars – Brooke Henderson and Lydia Ko – both still in their teens – battled it out for the 62nd KPG Women’s PGA Championship. In the end, it was 18-year-old Henderson who emerged victorious, landing the first hold in a sudden-death playoff after Ko missed her birdie putt from 15 feet. If you are looking for a golfer with good odds and good potential for 2017- we recommend keeping your eye on Brooke Henderson.

  1. Garcia vs Mickleson – Ryder Cup

Old rivals Sergio Garcia and Phil Mickelson putted themselves into a tie on the final day of the 51st edition of the Ryder Cup last year, after having faced each other 12 years prior in a game which saw Garcia prevail.

  1. Poulter and McIlroy vs Dufner and Johnson – Ryder Cup

OK, so we have to wind the clock a few years back for this one. But how can we count down the top golf games and not bring up how Ian Poulter and Rory McIlroy stepped in to save the day for Europe in 2012, winning against Jason Dufner and Zach Johnson on the 18th Green. Europe had performed poorly until then that year, losing every game of the first four sessions the the USA – a first since the current Ryder Cup format was implemented in 1979.

  1. Tiger Woods’ comeback against Patrick Reed – Hero World Challenge

After being out of the game for a year and a half due to back surgery, Tiger Woods made his comeback with a twist at the Hero World Challenge in the Bahamas. The 14-time major champion birdied three holes in a row, before hitting bogeys on the par-5 ninth and 11th. His opponent, Patrick Reed, shot 72.

  1. Ariya Jutanugarn takes home inaugural Volvik Championship

We could not have steered clear of last year’s unprecedented Volvik Championship which saw Ariya Jutganugarn win after firing a final-round 5-under par 67. She won five strokes over Christina Kim. If you had bet on Ariya winning this game, chances are you would have pocketed a pretty penny as the odds were simply fantastic!

And there you have it! What a whirlwind! Tune in at the end of the month to catch this year’s Volvik Championship, taking place between 25 and 28 May in Ann Arbor, Michigan- don’t forget to have a flutter on your favourite and who knows, you could win a tonne of cash! May the odds forever be in your favour!
