Big Ten Championship Will Be Match Play

I absolutely love Match Play, so I was excited to read that this year, the Big Ten will hold a Match Play Championship on Feb. 13 – 14 at Heron Bay Golf Club in Coral Springs, Fla.

Even better: it’ll be broadcast on the Big Ten Network.

Michigan State enters the NCAA golf season ranked 35th in the nation. The University of Michigan is ranked 37.

I’ve played both teams’ home courses. The University of Michigan’s “Blue” course is one of my favorites, and I get to it several times a summer. I finally got to visit Michigan States’ Forest Akers last summer and can’t wait to get back.
