Golf writer Larry Bohannan makes a plea for someone—anyone—to take up the mantle for the sponsorless Bob Hope Classic. The tournament had for twenty five years been the beneficiary of Chrysler, but this year is running on an empty tank.
If only the Buick in Flint had been given such a chance—and had a passionate advocate with a similarly big platform.
