Teacher’s Comments: Mrs. GolfBlogger’s new favorite shirt

Mrs. GolfBlogger is an accomplished seamstress and a fabric connoisseur, and she has declared this Bobby Jones HX2O Micro Stripe Polo her favorite among the dozens of golf polos that I own. She loves the fabric (as do I), praising the softness and color. She is also a fan of the details, such as the precise double stitching and the buttons engraved with “Bobby Jones.” She also thinks the embroidered golfer on the placket is cute.

I am a smart enough man not to disagree in any way with Mrs. GolfBlogger. It is honestly also one of my favorites.

The fabric is composed of 92% polyester and 8% spandex. Wearing it through a couple of weight workouts in the gym, I found that its moisture wicking and cooling properties work as advertised. There have unfortunately been no opportunities to test the shirts’s cooling properties on the course during this wet, cool, Michigan spring. I’m just trying to stay warm enough with my Bobby Jones XH2O vest and Bobby Jones Quarter Zip Pullover.

I HAVE worn the shirt UNDER the vest and pullover, and found that it allows plenty of shoulder turn. The cut, however, is trim enough that it doesn’t look loose or baggy. For my body type, it is perfect, actually.
