Booz Allen Angry With PGA Tour

The PGA seems to do so much right in its relationships with its sponsors, that when it screws up, it makes news. The Booz Allen situation is one of those.

When Booz Allen took over the old Kemper Open, the PGA Tour promised to fix the TPC at Avenel—a course that players go out of their way to avoid. But the tour apparently hasn’t even begun the promised work. And without an improved Avenel, Booz Allen can’t bask in the light of the PGA’s top players.

They’ll be ok this year, since the tournament is at the Congressional Country Club … but next year is a different story.

You can read the PGA’s version of the story here.
