The big golf writers have all gone orgasmic over the “new” idea of brown courses. Here’s one for them: Calderone Golf Club, in Grass Lake, Michigan.
It’s a prairie course, and the rough and much of the fairway is alternately green and brown as the weather dictates. It’s a great course.
