
There’s a photo that occasionally resurfaces on social media of a high school golfer (from Michigan) being assaulted by a Canada goose (see below). It is usually accompanied by much mockery and derision from keyboard warrior manly he-men who proclaim that they would have swept away the goose like flies on their Krispy Kremes.

But as golfers in the Midwest know full well, Canada geese are monsters (and a federally protected species). They will attack without warning, and often out of nowhere. They are of particular concern to walkers, who can’t use manly men-driven powered cart to drive them off.
For those who say “I could have easily handled a goose,” I ask: “Could you, manly man, drive off a tiger?”
