Celebrity Chef Lineup Announced For 2022 KitchenAid Fairway Club

If you have never been to a professional golf tournament, it may come as a surprise to find there’s a lot more going on than just golf.

Great golf tournaments are often great experiences on several levels. Tournaments sometimes feature concerts, such as Little Big Town performing at the Ally Challenge; there are food experiences like the outsized one at the Meijer LPGA; others, like the Rocket Mortgage Classic feature large midways with golf related activities, fan experiences, sponsor demonstrations and more.

At the best tournaments, there usually is a lot to do other than just watch golf.

The KitchenAid Senior PGA Championship today announced a celebrity chef lineup as the centerpiece of their fan experience at Harbor Shores during the 2022 KitchenAid Senior Championship (May 25 – 29).

Celebrity Chefs Scott Conant, Stephanie Izard and Melissa King — along with KitchenAid chefs Chris Covelli and Bret Wagner — will offer fans a chance to learn to improve their culinary skills with daily demonstrations and Q&A sessions. Naturally, KitchenAid products will be featured.

The demonstrations will be held near the main entrance in the KitchenAid Fairway Club. In addition to demonstrations, fans will have the opportunity to use KitchenAid small appliances and taste samples. Fans can also participate in a “putt for paint” contest where those who make a putt on a Stand Mixer-shaped green could win a custom painted stand mixer.

KitchenAid is headquartered in Benton Harbor, site of the Senior PGA for 2022.

It looks like fun to me. As a dedicated lifetime learner, I count any trip successful if I learn something new along the way.
