Chinese Golf

Golf Observer has a good article on the irony of the idea of Chinese golf. In a communist country where most of the people live in poverty (by western standards), the idea of building numeous luxury golf resorts is jarring.

I wonder if this stuff is sanctioned, or if the country is starting to slip from the grip of the evil old men who have been running it for the last fifty years.
