Skin cancer is a very real danger, and baseball caps just don’t offer enough protection. If you’re regularly out on the course — or out anywhere in the sun — you should wear a wider brimmed hat. This one from Coolibar is nice. It has a 3 inch brim, straw construction interior moisture wicking sweatband, and mesh grommets for air flow. It is rated as UPF 50+ for the covered area.
