A photo taken yesterday from my solo birthday golf outing. I drove up to Oakland County for a late morning-afternoon round at Copper Hills. It was a nice course, but I was surprised to learn from the owner that I am only the second person to walk. The other apparently was the soccer coach at one of the local high schools. It wasn’t that bad a walk, actually. Leslie Park in Ann Arbor actually is much tougher. But at Copper Hills, some of the holes are half a mile apart.
I played very well, shooting an 85, thanks, I think, to a brand new club: a Cleveland Niblick. It’s absolutely amazing.
