Corales Puntacana Resort and Club Championship Winners and History
The Corales Puntacana Resort and Club Championship has been an alternate field event to the WGC Match Play. In 2020, the COVID 19 Pandemic places the tournament the week after the US Open.
Formerly a Web.Com Tour event, the The Corales Puntacana Resort and Club Championship’s inaugural year was 2018. It is the first PGA TOUR event held in the Dominican Republic.
As with other alternate events: the winner garners somewhat reduced benefits: 300 FedEx Cup points and a two-year exemption, but no invitation to the Masters Tournament.
