Could Tiger Roar to Back to Back Masters Triumph in 2020?

What are the odds that Tiger Woods wins back-to-back Masters?

Could Tiger Roar to Back to Back Masters Triumph in 2020?

They say lightning doesn’t strike twice but given the shock created by Tiger Woods splendid 2019 Masters success, via the BBC.co.uk, perhaps it wouldn’t be unheard of for the golfing legend to come good again in Augusta.

It’s hard to not over-emphasize just how impressive Woods win was, not least because of the up and down time of it he has had over the past few years, both personally and in his golf game.

But to pick up a first Major title after a decade without doing so, well that’s almost unheard of, so why couldn’t the 43-year-old Californian repeat the feat.

Right now you can pick up a seriously tempting 12/1 on Woods winning in 2020 with Coral, and that’s a very fair price given the circumstances, but it could be worthwhile to consider placing a live betting, and one of the most reliable sites to do so would be Online Sports Betting.

Among those hot on his heels will be the likes of current world number one Brooks Koepa, who has won three majors over the past couple of years. The Floridian is the hot favorite with William Hill, among others, rating him at 8/1.

Northern Ireland’s Rory McIlroy can be picked up at 10/1 with Ladbrokes and the 30-year-old would dearly love to pick up a Masters Green Jacket, with that being the only major he hasn’t picked up over the course of a glittering career.

Grabbing 66/1 on Spanish star Sergio Garcia, from BetVictor, is one bet that seems well worth a flutter. Though it’s true he’s had a tough time of it this season, missing the cut at the Masters in 2019, he did win in 2017.

But Woods would be the romantic bet to consider, with the megastar coming from the pits of despair to get his career, and life back on track.

His 2010 divorce coming off the back of claims of infidelity and months of hassle from an over eager media, keen to break down a star they had helped to build up.

Woods emotional, tearful, televised apology to his wife as well as a period in rehab to help shake off his demons, were followed by the loss of a great many of the sponsors that had made the golfer one of the most bankable men in sport.

Injuries plagued this period of his career that saw Woods fall from number one down to 58 in the world, before scaling the ranking mountain again in 2014 before a succession of back injuries led to a break from the game. In 2017 a DUI offence, as reported on GolfBlogger.com,  led to a new low for Tiger, but again he bounced back.

He returned to the game in 2018 and steadily improved, this led to his emotional triumph at the Masters this year and now that Woods is back on the road to recovering the greatness that has made him a sporting icon, who would bet against another big major triumph in 2020?
