CRMC Championship Winners and History

The CRMC Championship is a PGA TOUR Americas event first held in 2022 as a PGA TOUR Canada event. It was the first PGA TOUR Canada tournament played in the US.

The tournament is held on the Dutch course at Cragun’s Resort in Brainerd, Minnesota. The Dutch plays as a par 70 at 6, 934 yards. Minnesota Tom Lehman recently completed renovations and re-routings on the Robert Trent Jones, Jr. original design.

The CRMC was named PGA TOUR Canada’s 2023 Tournament of the Year.

Jake Knapp was the inaugural winner. He went on to win the Mexico Open in 2024. Knapp serves as Honorary Chairman of the 2024 CRMC Championship.

The “trophy” for the CRMC Championship at Craguns’ is an axe.

CRMC is Cuyuna Regional Medical Center, which serves the region with a hospital and nursing facility, physician clinics and a senior living community. Gertens, the presenting sponsor is a regional garden, greenhouse and home center.

Making the most of the event, there is a full week of events beginning with a “Cruising for Charity on Gull Lake” event, and following up with family activities, military appreciation day and more.
