The putter also will record data on golfer’s swing, including the path of the swing, swing speed, impact position and the angle of the putter’s face. The idea is that a golfer could use the data as a practice tool. Then, during a regular round, you can replace the sensor with a dummy weight.

For sale in Japan, it’s priced at $800 to $900.
