Devyn Chatman is a senior at John Glenn High School — the school where I teach. In an incredibly bad break, Devyn recently was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer. Students and faculty at John Glenn and in the Wayne Westland School district have been pulling together to help Devyn raise money to pay medical bills. He has a GoFundMe account which explains the situation.
One of the planned fundraising activities is a golf outing. If you’re in the area, you might want to put together a team for a worthy cause. The outing is at Gateway Golf Club, which I found surprisingly good for a development course.
