Eagle Eye Golf & Banquet Center Hosting GAM Senior Four-Ball
BATH – Award-Winning Eagle Eye Golf & Banquet Center will host many of the state’s top amateur senior golfers in the 18th GAM Senior Four-Ball Championship presented by Sullivan Golf Travel, Monday and Tuesday, Aug. 19-20.
The Eagle Eye course was designed by Chris Lutzke in collaboration with Pete Dye. It is a rolling links style design with multiple tee options. It has consistently won awards and received top ratings since it was founded in 2003.
Among its most notable holes is No. 17, a 146-yard par 3 that Lutzke designed as a replica of the famous island hole 17th at TPC Sawgrass in Ponte Vedra, Fla., which was designed by Dye. The testy par 3 has beguiled the best golfers in the world, and the replica at Eagle Eye offers the similar challenging experience.
Eagle Eye has hosted several GAM tournaments and qualifiers in recent years, including the 2016 Michigan Amateur Championship, and has also been a past host of multiple Michigan PGA Professional Championships. Its sister course, Hawk Hollow, which is across the street, hosted the 2022 Michigan Amateur.

Last year, Rick Williams of Northville and Dan Gillig of Portage, longtime golf buddies, teamed up to win the 17th GAM Senior Four-Ball at Macatawa Golf Club in Holland, finishing just ahead of David LeVan of Ann Arbor and partner Bill Ulle of Novi, and Vaughn Stevens of Grand Rapids and Mike Zoerhoff of Caledonia.
In the Super Senior Division (golfers ages 65-plus) Ray Emsley of Davisburg and Ron Perrine of Holt emerged as champions.
Williams and Gillig are returning to defend their title.
The winners of the two divisions in the championship have their names inscribed on the Gus Cosmos Trophy
