Els Out For Season

Ernie Els management team has announced that the Big Easy will be out for the rest of the season due to a knee injury suffered while sailing.

I wonder, though, if the sailing strain wasn’t just the last straw. He has not been the old Ernie At all this season. Perhaps it has been a nagging injury that was exacerbated by the sailing accident.

At any rate, it’s too bad. Ernie has always stuck me as a great competitor and a class act.
