Fall Color At Indian River Golf Club

Fall Color At Indian River Golf Club

The fall colors were absolutely stunning this week at Indian River Golf Club in Indian River, Michigan.

The club, which celebrates its 100th anniversary this year, is one of my favorite to play (my other favorite — Washtenaw Golf Club — is 125 years old this year).

Indian River is a course that has really grown on me over the years. In my review from eleven years ago, I gave it a B+. Today, I might give it an A.

As with Washtenaw, the more I play Indian River, the more I appreciate the nuances. The stretch of holes from 11 to 15 are among my favorite anywhere.

Here are a few more photos from my recent round. Click to embiggen.
