With two teenage boys, the GolfBlogger household has a lot of smelly laundry. I was therefore happy to receive a sample pack of Febreze’s Odor Eliminator laundry additive.
On the basis of one test, it seems to work well. Smelly, smoky clothes from the annual Boy Scout Halloween campout came out with no trace of the odoriferous horrors that they had experienced. While the liquid itself is a bit on the strong side in terms of smell, I thought the residual scent was relatively innocuous.
On the other hand — and this is why the Febreze Odor Eliminator gets an incomplete — I don’t know how the clothes would have smelled sans Febreze. I suspect that it helped, though. My thought is that if you’ve got persistent odors from your athletic clothes (or teenage boy clothes) even after washing, Febreze Odor Eliminator is worth a try.
