For The Weekend: How To Make A Maker’s Mark Mojito

Ingredients:
Makers Mark
Simple Syrup
Fresh Mint
Triple Sec
Lime Wedges
Small Bowl of Sugar

Instructions:
Wet the rim of the glass with a lime wedge.
Drip the rim of the glass into a bowl of sugar.
Add two tablespoons of simple syrup
Throw in several fresh mint leaves and muddle (crush)
Add Ice
Add 1 1/2 parts Makers Mark
Add the juice of 2 lime wedges
Add a splash of triple sec
Garnish with lime wedge

It strikes me that a splash of Cointreau would work just as well, if not better. I prefer it to Triple Sec in my margaritas.
