I regrip my clubs every season as a matter of routine. I generally play without gloves, so clean, unworn grips are a necessity.
Fortunately, I am quite skilled at replacing grips. I can do a set in well under an hour. The latest set I put on was a set of Lamkin Sonar Wraps. They’re really nice and I think I’d like to get more to put on my other club set.
However, if you’re not quite as handy, or don’t have the time, Lamkin has a deal with Dick’s Sporting Goods and Golf Galaxy: Buy a set of 8 or more grips (or a putter grip) and the retailers will put them on for free.
