Just when I think I’ve seen everything for golf, GolfBlogger Son #1 sends a link to a company selling a golf ball launcher attachment for an AR-15 rifle.
The launcher is designed to screw into the business end of a standard threaded AR-15 barrel, and uses blanks to launch the ball at bullet-like speeds. The company says that it can go 400+ yards. One also is available for a Mosin Nagant.
It goes without saying that this thing would be entirely lethal were it to hit someone.
