Golf Is Everywhere: Liquor Store Edition
I spotted these bottles of Bobby Jones bourbon and rye in my local liquor store.
The three comprise “The Clover Collection”, which the company advertises as sourced from “world class distilleries” and aged in “premium barrels” which are “proofed, chill filtered and bottled as true single barrel whiskeys.”
The four leafed clover monicker is said to commemorate a clover medallion Jones’ mother gave him for good fortune. The leaves are said to mean Hope, Faith, Love and Luck.
Jones was born on St. Patrick’s Day, 1902.
The bottles were tempting, but a bit too expensive for me to try on a lark. I’ll have to do some reading on them.
