PGA TOUR: The Open Championship and Barracuda Championship

The PGA TOUR has two official events this week.

The first is the Open Championship.

Brian Harman is the reigning champion golfer of the year.

The Barracuda Championship the latest name for the Reno – Tahoe Open. It is played as an alternate field event, and uses a modified Stableford scoring format.

DP World Tour aka European Tour: The Open Championship

The European Tour / DP World Tour plays the final men’s Major Championship of the year: The Open

Brian Harman is the reigning champion golfer of the year.

LPGA: Dana Open

The LPGA plays the Dana Open in Sylvania, Ohio in the suburbs of Toledo. The tournament was once known as “The Jamie Farr,” after its host.

PGA TOUR Champions: Off

The PGA TOUR Champions is off until the Senior Open July 25 -28.

Korn Ferry Tour: Price Cutter Charity Championship

The defending champion is Pierceson Coody.

PGA TOUR Americas: The Bromont Open

The PGA TOUR Americas plays the Explore NB Open in Fredericton, new Brunswick. Fredericton is the capital of New Brunswick.

APGA (Advocates Professional Golf Association): Off

The APGA is off.

LIV: Off

Michigan Tournaments: 14th GAM Women’s Four Ball; 10th GAM Super Senior Championship;

The Golf Association of Michigan hosts the 14th GAM Women’s Four Ball at Boulder Creek and the 10th GAM Super Senior Championship at Apple Mountain.
