These glasses jogged my memory. We used to have some heavy tumblers where the flat bottom had a circular indentation. It was dimpled and painted like a golf ball and when the glass was viewed from above, it looked like a golf ball was in the glass. Our granddaughter was greatly intrigued by this and that was “her” glass. Mean while, when our grandson came along, he saw me drinking beer out of a Mason jar so naturally, the Mason jar became his favored drinking glass. Corrupt our youth early, I always say.
