If there’s a course with a Halloween flavor, it’s got to to be the Old Course at Ballybunion, which features the historic Killehenny graveyard as part of its sights.
Located right of the 1st hole’s fairway, the graveyard is perfectly situated to catch a pushed or sliced drive by a right-handed player. Plus the prevailing breeze off the ocean accentuates these errors. I felt greatly relieved when my drive found the fairway. Scary opening tee shot!
