GolfBlogger Ranked #5 Golf Blog By FeedSpot

FeedSpot has ranked GolfBlogger.Com as the number five golf blog.

As an RSS aggregator, FeedSpot likely has some accurate insights into which blogs have the most traffic and readers — at least on their platform.

I honestly have never heard of Andrew Rice golf, and checking out the site, it turns out the “blog” hasn’t been updated since November 2024. The others I know; I’m good friends with the publisher of Hooked On Golf Blog.

For my part, any success is more than a little accidental. When I started GolfBlogger some twenty years ago, all I wanted was a place to indulge my addictions to golf and writing. I’ve never had the time to chase backlinks, optimize for SEO or do any of the other promotional things the “experts” say I should do. Until recently, I was working full time as a schoolteacher (I have retired) and I found I could either write and play golf, or concentrate on the business end, but not both. Now, I’m not sure I have the inclination to spend “retirement time” to pursue the “business end.”

Thus, it all has been left to fortune.

FeedSpot is an RSS aggregator lets you follow all of your favorite websites (including this one) from one app or web page.

If you follow a large number of different websites, you absolutely should use an RSS aggregator. I use one, and its a huge time saver. Instead of clicking through the list of hundreds sites in my “Favorites” folder, I just visit the aggregator for a couple of minutes every day and see headlines from all of the new posts from those sites. Some post only a couple of times a year (such as Andrew Rice Golf). Others (such as GolfBlogger) strive to post something every day.

  1. Congratulations for making the list. I have viewed My Golf Spy a few times. I visit The Sand Trap regularly. The other two are off my radar.
