(Ann Arbor, Michigan) – Augusta National Chairman Billy Payne announced today that GolfBlogger.Com will become the Title Sponsor and official Golf Blog of The Masters Tournament.
“We at Augusta National are pleased to have GolfBlogger.Com join us as the title sponsor,” Payne said. “Since 1934, The Masters has established itself as golf’s greatest tournament. And since 2004, GolfBlogger.Com has established itself as golf’s greatest blog. It’s a natural fit.”
The Tournament will be known as “The GolfBlogger Masters.”
In addition to merging The Augusta National and GolfBlogger logos on all merchandising and advertising, GolfBlogger will work with Augusta National to develop a wide range of mobile, social and web apps.
“We are pleased to have the opportunity to work with Augusta National,” GolfBlogger.Com spokesman Josh Earnest said. “This agreement allows our crack team of writers and photographers to not only go inside the ropes—but inside the clubhouse—to provide amazing content for GolfBlogger’s millions of readers.”
