The True TL-01 is a walker’s dream. With ultrasoft materials and a zero-drop cushion, these are the closest thing to bare feet you can wear on the golf course. I’ve put in a lot of miles in my pair of True TL-01 shoes and in spite of their softness, they have held up as well as any I have ever worn.

The tread provides more than enough grip for my moderate swing speed. Further, the light and flexible True TL-01 makes weight shift and footwork effortless.

Big Max Blade IP Golf Push Cart and Aqua Sport Golf Bag

The Big Max Blade IP Golf Push Cart (or trolley, as they call it across the Pond) is an incredible piece of engineering. When folded, it lays nearly flat, but extends to hold a full sized bag. Going from folded to open to closed takes just a few seconds.

I’ve pushed this cart well over a hundred miles, over all sorts of rugged terrain, and it has held up very well, indeed. It’s a sound investment for a walking golfer — or for one who aspires to walk more rounds.

The Aqua Sport 2 Golf Bag is a nice pair with the Blade IP. It’s a moderate weight bag that works equally well on push- and power-carts. It’s got a 14 way divider tip with an oversized putter well, and lots of spacious pockets.

The bag also is entirely waterproof, which I can attest to, having played several rounds with the bag in a pouring rain.

I play golf bare-handed, and am particular about grips. They need to be easy on the hands, soft and shock absorbing. They also need to have enough texture to hold on to without gripping too tightly.

The Lamkin Sonar Wraps very nicely satisfy all the criteria. They have a little give and absorb shock. The wrap style, along with the tiny pattern textures make it easy to hold on to.

Regripping your own clubs is a skill every golfer should have.
