Stewart Q Follow
Stewart Q Follow
Grade: A+
Teacher’s Comments: A golf course game changer for walkers — and for those who should walk.
The Stewart Golf Q Follow is one of two outstanding powered golf trolleys I tested this past summer. The Q Follow does exactly what it says: it follows you around the course, prompted by a remote you wear on the back of your trousers or shorts. It’s basically a robot caddie. Now if only it would help me line up my putts.

MGI Zip Navigator AT
MGI Zip Navigator AT
Grade: A+
Teachers’ Comments: Fast, nimble and powerful. It makes walking a golf course a joy
The AT Zip Navigator AT makes walking the golf course an absolute pleasure. After hitting a ball, I send it dashing ahead with the remote toward my ball, kept on line by its internal gyroscope.

Cigman Laser Rangefinder
Cigman Laser Rangefinder
Grade: A
Teacher’s Comments: Gets the job done. Inexpensive.
As in virtually every other field of technology, laser rangefinders have gotten both more powerful and cheaper. The Cigman comes in at under $90 on Amazon’s latest deal, but has features that were unheard of on the first generation of laser rangefinders.

Teacher’s Comments: Good sound, comfortable, priced right
While not strictly a golf product I’ve enjoyed using these in the great outdoors on my walks. The sound is good and the price is enticing.

1More S70 Open Earbuds Review
1More S70 Earbuds
Grade: B+
Teacher’s Comments: Good sound, and I like the open air design, but the fit on my ears feels insecure (even though they are not).
If you’re going to listen to music on the golf course, do everyone else a favor and wear headphones. The 1More S70 are great candidates for the job. They’re lightweight, have good sound and long battery life.

Garmin Approach S70 GPS Watch
Garmin Approach S70 GPS Watch
Grade: A+
Teacher’s Comments: The Swiss Army Knife of Golf GPS devices. I don’t want to play another round without it.
This watch is not only my golf watch, it’s my daily driver.

Teacher’s Comments: Perfect for the golf course
The wind noise cancelling works very well and is why I keep going back to using these on the course.
