GolfBlogger’s Holiday Gift Guide: Golf Training Aids
Here are a couple of golf training aids that I have tested and enjoyed. Unlike some other golf websites, I only include items in my gift guides that I have personally tested and liked.
Varispeed Putting System
Varispeed Putting System
Grade: A
Teacher’s Comments: a very nice practice surface that — amazingly — offers variable stimp.

Drive for show. Putt for dough.
What’s cool about this putting practice system is that you can adjust the stimp of the mat by brushing the carpet’s nap in different directions
GForce Swing Trainer
GForce Swing Trainer
Grade: A
Teacher’s Comments: A next-level golf swing trainer
Read GolfBlogger’s GForce Swing Trainer Review.
There are a lot of swing trainers out there. There also are a lot of flexible shaft swing trainers. What sets the GForce trainer apart is that it is a flexible shaft trainer with the same weight and feel of a regular 7 iron. The head is playable; you can actually use it to hit balls, giving you significant feedback on how your swing is going.
I keep it in my bag on practice round
Putt Out Mirror Training System

Grade: A
Teachers’ Comments: The American Ninja Putting System

Thing One, the oldest son, calls the Putt Out Mirror Training System my “American Ninja Warrior” putting course. The show, which I have never seen, apparently has a wall that looks similar to the Putt Out Pressure Trainer, and walls and gates that look like the Mirror Trainer Gates.
The gates, combined with the Putt Out Pressure Trainer really helps to groove both a straight putt and distance control.
