The GolfDash Web Directory is one of those sites that first makes me think “Gee, I wish I’d thought of that,” and then “But even if I did, I don’t have the technical expertise to pull it off.”
GolfDash is a home page for golf lovers (I assume that the Dash means “Dashboard”). There, you will find a directory of golf sites, a search engine to find golf-specific items, golf news feeds, a blog and more. I like it a lot.
But I’m not doing a very good job of explaining it. You can find the official statement below:
GolfDash (http://www.GolfDash.com) is the first golf specific web directory. It is not a search engine and not a portal. Over 3600 golf web sites have been chosen and edited by human beings and then indexed to make it easy to find what you need. GolfDash doesn’t create information, they point you to quality existing web sites. It covers the golf categories you’d expect, like equipment, conditioning, history and courses. It also covers the more esoteric categories like greenskeeping, golf scholarships, course architects and golf jokes. If it has anything to do with golf, you can find it neatly categorized on GolfDash. GolfDash has a search engine, but it searches only its own links. That means you find what you are looking for, not a front for eBay. And to top it off, GolfDash has the latest web tools like customizable RSS feeds and the ability to create your own golf categories and links.
GolfDash is currently running a promotion where anyone who becomes a member (Free membership) we will give them a FREE GolfRound towels ($7.95 value). This is actually a VERY cool golf product to clean your golf ball or club when away from your golfbag. They make great holiday gifts, too. Hate to say this but . . . . they really are going fast and there is a limited supply.
