Google Glass Reaches The Golf Course

Google Glass has hit the golf course!

Of course, you have to be in pretty select company to get a pair of Google Glass (or is it Google Glasses? I’m not sure of the grammar). But if you’re one of the lucky ones—and you’re a golfer—GolfSight is the perfect application. GolfSight has data on 25,000 courses, gives distances to greens and hazards and lets you keep score.

I love the HUD look of the whole thing.

It’s a great concept, but I’m not sure I’ll see it at any local courses any time soon. You have to be specially selected by Google just to buy a pair. And a pair of Google Glass is going to set you back a pretty penny. Still, at some point, it’s all going to become mainstream …
