Gran Canaria Lopesan Open Winners and History
The Gran Canaria Lopesan Open is — for the moment — a one time tournament iintended to replace the Portugal Masters. As such, it is the first of two consecutive European Tour events in the Canary Islands.
The tournament is held at the Meloneras Golf Club.
Gran Canaria is the third largest island in the Canaries island chain. With a population of 846,717, it is most populous of those islands as well.
Lopesan is a hotel and resort group in the Canary Islands.
