Great Golf Advice

Here’s some great golf advice from Riggs at Barstool Sports.

Good luck to everyone in their Saturday rounds today. Remember, 7.6 billion people on earth don’t care where your shots go & neither should you. When you want to scream force yourself to smile. Play fast. Play courteously. Be nice to the staff & the course. Above all, have fun.

It perfectly encompasses my attitude. I am not a pro. I expect to make plenty of bad shots. There’s no use getting angry about them. Each bad shot is an opportunity to learn and to do better the next time.

Don’t try to be the best golfer your group has ever played with. Try to be the best person they have ever played with.

In the end, no one will remember you score. They WILL remember whether you are a jerk or a good person.
