A very mild winter has been followed by a relatively early spring here in southeast Michigan. There is still a bit of winter debris in the fairways, but the greens are in great shape.
We are sure to have a late spring snow at some point, but at this point it is looking pretty positive for the season.

I played Green Oaks last weekend (3/19). It was a pleasure to walk 18 and not have to trudge through muddy and soggy fairways. Plus they had the “White” tees forward enough to make scoring possible.
Green Oaks has some sort of miraculous ground that keeps it dry even after a soaking rain.
