Hal Sutton Has “Mild” Heart Attack At Champions Tour Event

Prayers for a full and speedy recovery go out to Hal Sutton, who suffered a “mild” heart attack at the Champions Tour Ace Group Classic on Friday. The 1983 PGA Championship winner said he felt pressure in his chest and withdrew from the tournament. A stent was put in to fix a 100% blockage in one of his arteries.

Sutton won 14 times on the PGA TOUR and was captain of the 2004 US Ryder Cup Team.
