Hidden River Hosts Event For Veterans’ Charity Sept. 29

Hidden River Golf and Casting Club will host a charity event on September 29 to support the Brave Hearts Estate, a Northern Michigan retreat for veterans and their families.

Operation Injured Soldiers of Pellston, MI takes care of our own. Brave Hearts Estates opened in August of 2015 as a retreat center for veterans and their families. For veterans and their families to qualify for a stay at the Brave Hearts Estate the veteran must be 30 percent disabled or have served in combat. Veterans stay free of charge with expenses paid for by Operation Injured Soldiers.

Hosting two or three families each weekend, Brave Hearts Estates provides food (breakfast & dinner) along with day tours and excursions to local attractions.

The charity fundraiser is a  a four man scramble golf tournament at Hidden River Golf and Casting Club. Shot gun start at 9:00am $300.00 per team. Tournament will include a box lunch and a dinner with awards at the Brave Hearts Estate following tournament. All proceeds will go to the Operation Injured Soldiers of Michigan.
